Volume 1

Kagome was alwalys just a typical Japanise high school girl. Sure, her grandfather is obsessed with ancient myths, the family house is crammed with mystical talismans, and everything around her seems to have a legend attached to it, but none of that ever mattered to Kagome...until one day.

One amazing day a hideous, otherworldly creature literally pulls her out of her own world and into Japan's ancient past, where it seems that more than a few of those dusty old legends are true. Her destiny is linked to one lengendary crature in paticular.

Volume 2

The battle with Yura of the Hair comes to an end and her very strange form is revealed. Inuyasha is decived into thinking that he has found his human mother while Inuyahsa's half brother, Sesshoumaru, a fuul demon, and Jaken begin their search for Sesshoumaru and Inuyahsa's father.

Volume 3

A vicious battle rages at the burial place of Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru's father. Their father, who was a great and powerful "demon dog", has left behind a very precious heirloom. This heirloom is Tetsusiga, a very powerful sword which Inuaysha's father carved from his own fang to protect his human wife, Inuyahsa's mother.

Volume 4

Inuyahsa is caught in a struggle with the Thunder Brothers, and Kagome's attempts to help him are going awry. Can Inuyasha triumph over the evil brothers when much of his attention is foucued on protecting Kagome? Later, when Kagome returns to her own time, she discovers that the Shikon Jewel shards are wreaking havoc not only in Japan's medieval past, but the modern world as well!

Volume 5

When Inuaysha temporarily loses his powers, he must rely on his friends for help when they face a demon-in-sheep's-clothing who steals several shards of the Shikon Jewel! Inuyahsa's vulnerable state makes him more affectionate towards Kagome as well. Back in Kaede's village, an evil which defiles Lady Kikyo's grave and steals her ashes...but foe what purpose? Fearing the worst, Inuaysha and the others set off to recover Kikyos remains...

Volume 6

Inuyahsa, Kagome, and Shippo cross paths with a devious, thieving young monk who has his own designs on Kagome's sacred jewel shards...and clues about what may have happened between Inuyahsa and Kikyo 50 years ago! Later, is a shard of the Shikon Jewel to blame in a town were paintings of demons are mysteriously coming to life to terrorise the villagers? And when Inuyasha's half-brother Sesshouamaru returns with a powerful new partner, their unholy alliance may be worse fo inuaysha and his friends can handle!

Volume 7

Inuyahsa's despicabe half-brother Sesshoumaru has taken possession of their father's powerful sword-Tetsusiga-and Inuyahsa, Kagome, Shippo and their new companion Miroku must fight desperately against Sesshoumarus attacks. But do they stand a chance aganinst a sword can slay a hundred demons with a single stroke? Fearing for Kagomes's safety, Inuyahsa tries to send her back to her own time for good! And can Inuyahsa and Kaede figure out mysterious, shape-shifting Naraku's reasons for deciving Kikyo and Inuaysha 50 years earlier?

Volume 8

When Inuyahsa hears that Kikyo may be alive, no one can stop him from chasing after her in hopes of reconciliation. But Kikyo, who was raised from the dead by an evil witch, is out for revenge on Inuyahsa. Kagome witnessess their confrontation and feels pnags of jelousy as Inuyahsa expressess his true feelings to Kikyo...but will Kikyo ever accept the truth about what happened 50 years ago and fogive Inuayhsa? Later, the hunt for more shards of the Shikon Jewel leads the gang to a village of demon slayers, where the nefarious Naraku is, as usual, up to no good!

Volume 9

>Sango the Demon Slayer comes after Inuaysha, whom she blames for the murder of her family, butit's the villanous shape-shifting Naraku who's really responsible. Will Inuyahsa convince her of his innocense before things get out of hand? And can Sango help unravel the mystery surronding the origins of the Sacred Jewel?

Volume 10

Sly monk Miroku's attempt at chivarly goes wrong in more ways than one; the damsel in distress turns out to be a demon in disguise, and Miroku's powerful wind tunnel weapon begins to unravel, threatening to consume him! And when the evil Narkau forces Sango the Deamon Slayer tp make a terrible choice, will she betray Inuaysha, or face losing her brother Kohaku for a second time?

Volume 11

Kagome senses something of Inuaysha's struggle in the plight of another half-demon, the gentle giant Jinenji, who is unfairly accused of terrorizing his village...but can she convince Inuaysha to help? Later, when a poisonous fog spreads across the land, Inuaysha and the others are sure that the evil Naraku must behind it. Now that Kikyo seems to be aiding Naraku, has Inuaysha's hope of reconciling with his former love become completely futile?

Volume 12

Inuyasha meets an old demon named Totosai who turns out to be the swordsmith who forged the mighty Tetsusiga for Inuyahsa's Father. Totosai offers to teach Inuyahsa how to harness the full power of the fearsome weapon in exchange for protection from Inuyahsa's evil half brother Sesshomaru, who has threatened to kill Totosai if he refuses to craft a new sword just for him! But how can Inuyasha defeat his half brother before he has complete mastery of Tetsusiga?

Volume 13

Kagome's ability to sense the presence of scared jewel shards has always been an invaluable skill?but now it?s putting her in danger, because it?s for this talent that Koga, the leader of a wolf demon tribe, kidnaps her! Thrust into the middle of a war unwillingly betrothed to Koga, Kagome waits for Inuyahsa and the others to rescue her. And to make matters worse, the nefarious Naraku returns to pit Inuyahsa and Koga?in a dual to the death!

Volume 14

Still locked in a duel to the death with Koga the wolf demon, Inuyasha is unable to convince his foe that thier battle is a trap set by the evil Naraku! Even if Koga finally accepts the truth, will it be to late? The peril increases when Naraku's servents, Kagura and Kanna, arrive on the scene! When Inuyasha battles evil shape-shifter Naraku's latest incarnation, a mind-reading demon named Goshinki, he may be in over his head! Inuyasha's attacks are rendered useless in the face of Goshinki's ability to anticipate every strike, and Inuyasha is dealt a devastating blow when his precious sword, the Tetsusagia, is broken! In his quest to kill Kagome, Naraku seeks a new ally--Tsubaki, a dark priestess who specializes in curses. Tsubaki agrees to help Naraku, but only after he promises her the nearly complete Jewel of the Four Souls, which she has long thirsted for. Can Inuyasha's friends break Tsubaki's curse, before it forces him to relive a nightmarish experience from his past?

Volume 21

Tsubaki flees to the ancient temple where she trained as a youth. Momiji and Boton, two naïve priestesses trained by the same priest who once trained Tsubaki, believe her when she claims she's being pursued by an "evil demon" and set out to confront Inuyasha and the others. With the two guardians of the temple now gone, Tsubaki reveals the true reason she's returned--to use an evil power that's been sealed away for generations!

Volume 22

Dark priestess Tsubaki was once Kikyo's rival for Keeper of the Sacred Jewel. Now, unable to forgive and consumed by her ambition to control the jewel, she uses a shard in her eye to devour demons and gain their power--and Inuyasha is next on her list! Later, Wind Sorceress Kagura plans to escape her evil master Naraku by using jewel shards ripped from Koga's legs!

Volume 23

Kagura has long sought to be free of her evil master's grasp, and when it appears that Naraku's powers have weakened, she plans her escape. But, afraid to take such a dangerous gamble alone, she tries to enlist Sesshomaru's help by offering him the jewel shards she stole from Koga's legs. Meanwhile, Naraku's newest incarnation is slaughtering humans and stealing their faces! What is this Faceless Man after, and how does he know Kagome?

Volume 24

The fight against the mysterious Muso continues! Although he seems to be an incarnation of Naraku, like Kagura and Kanna, he doesn't appear to be under Naraku's control. After seeing Kagome, something awakens within Muso--memories of a past involving Inuyasha and Kikyo.

Volume 25

Inuyasha and friends head to the coastal region to confront a horde of bat demons. There, Inuyasha meets Shiori, a young girl who is also a half-demon. He sympathizes with Shiori because they are both outcasts from the worlds of demons and humans. Inuyasha learns that the only way to make himself more powerful is by killing the young girl. Can he go through with it?

Volume 26

Using his blade Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha uncovers the Panther Demons' hideout. While he searches for the kidnapped Kagome and battles hoards of Panther Demons, his older brother Sesshomaru arrives on the scene and orders him to leave, but Inuyasha insists on fighting alongside his brother. With the revival of the Panther Demons' leader at hand, can Inuyasha, Koga and Sesshomaru work together long enough to defeat the great demon and rescue Kagome?

Volume 27

Jaken plots to steal the Tetsusaiga from Inuyasha, but ends up getting kidnapped by Naraku's incarnation, Kagura. Meanwhile, Sesshomaru grows tired of Naraku's games and plans to destroy him once and for all. When Inuyasha and Sesshomaru confront Naraku together, will their combined power be enough to stop the evil machinations of their foe?

Volume 28

Naraku has disappeared, and Kagome and Inuyasha, tired of battling demons and searching for Shikon Jewel shards, are getting some much-needed R&R in Kagome's time. Meanwhile, back in the Feudal Era, Koga searches for traces of the missing Naraku, only to encounter the female Wolf-Demon, Ayame. When she claims that Koga promised to marry her, Koga doesn't know what to do...nor does he even remember making such a promise!

Volume 29

Sensing a great demonic presence, Inuyasha and the others follow it, hoping it will lead them to Naraku. Instead, they find themselves at a castle being haunted by a giant demon's floating head! At first, the group decides to help rid the castle of the demon and quickly go on their way. But when Miroku learns of the beautiful princess residing there, plans quickly change, much to Sango's chagrin...
